COOKING
HINTS & TIPS
Thanksgiving is the start of "cooking
season" — that time of the year when
you are cooking for the holidays, taking
food to work for lunchtime potlucks,or
just cooking up a bowl of soup to keep
the cold at bay. The following cooking
and kitchen tips should help make your
shopping, cooking, food storage and
reach the checkout stand.
• Try to shop only once a week instead
of stopping by the Supermarket every
day. When you stop in for just one or
two items, you usually leave with four
or five. Shopping all at once can help
keep impulse buying at a minimum.
CLIPPING COUPONS
• Clip coupons only for those products
that you normally buy anyway.Getting

COOKING
HINTS & TIPS
Thanksgiving is the start of "cooking
season" — that time of the year when
you are cooking for the holidays, taking
food to work for lunchtime potlucks,or
just cooking up a bowl of soup to keep
the cold at bay. The following cooking
and kitchen tips should help make your
shopping, cooking, food storage and
reach the checkout stand.
• Try to shop only once a week instead
of stopping by the Supermarket every
day. When you stop in for just one or
two items, you usually leave with four
or five. Shopping all at once can help
keep impulse buying at a minimum.
CLIPPING COUPONS
• Clip coupons only for those products
that you normally buy anyway.Getting

THE FEMME MYSTIQUE
edited by Leslea Newman
A fascinating and insightful look at the world of
femme identity within the lesbian community,
written by femmes, former femmes, femme
wanna-bes, femme admirers, and, of course,
femmes fatales. Through poetry, essays, short fic
tion, and photography. The Femme Mystique ex
plores what it means to be a femme and a lesbian
in a society that often trivializes the feminine.
