\Ve had a hi-follutin' time at the Oklahoma City Pride '96
parade, Pnde Vhthout Borders. 1\ few dedicated OGR.l\
members j w11ped in nt the last minute , pooled our efforts
and resources and scrapped together the OGR.A. entrv for
the p � rndc. To those few, an appreciated THANK 't'OU
1s cldmnely m order. OGRA's inclusion in this verv

One would think the
Billings to a alarming STOP!
"Skinheads" had blocked the road and there was two
hundred plus with a bulldozer ready to roll over all of us.
But, after a few tense moments, \Ve were on our way agam
singing 2 - 4 - 6 - 8 what do we want "Miller Light"! \\/hen
do we :'\,.,'ant it, NOW' And Clarence's Cowboys just waved
and sm.ilecl. What a hoot I
Happy July 4th to
all 131 Me1n·bers.
Billings w�s a small rodeo Only 55 contestants. But it wris
a good turnout }..,fost everyone had a good time ... even when
I fell down that flight of stairs and ended up with tea and
creamy sweet salad dressing all over the walls, carpet and
me. I.hanks Ron and Bill! It was their stalfS I fell dovm.
However, they \Vere still the ideal host all weekend.
Now for some old business. Our Rodeo was a blur I was so
bmy I hope someone saw \vhat or who I did? I knmv as
President I need to refresh our stand on some items:
Item No. 1 - When we vote on something as a group, Let's
respect what we voted for.
Item No. 2 - Any misrepresentation of the organization ,vill
be dealt with as outlined in the By-Laws or how ever the
Executive Board deems fit.
Working together 1s what makes OGRA one of the best
associations in IGRA There is a lot of things happening in
the next few months. I know Phil will do his best to keep u<;
infom1ed of coming events, dates, places and times.
One more thing, Paula L BrO\vn, TH.i'\NK YOU for the
story about our May rodeo. A great piece of writing!

parade, Pnde Vhthout Borders. 1\ few dedicated OGR.l\

One would think the

"Skinheads" had blocked the road and there was two
hundred plus with a bulldozer ready to roll over all of us.
But, after a few tense moments, \Ve were on our way agam
singing 2 - 4 - 6 - 8 what do we want "Miller Light"! \\/hen
do we :'\,.,'ant it, NOW' And Clarence's Cowboys just waved
and sm.ilecl. What a hoot I

all 131 Me1n·bers.
Billings w�s a small rodeo Only 55 contestants. But it wris
a good turnout }..,fost everyone had a good time ... even when
I fell down that flight of stairs and ended up with tea and
creamy sweet salad dressing all over the walls, carpet and
me. I.hanks Ron and Bill! It was their stalfS I fell dovm.
However, they \Vere still the ideal host all weekend.
Now for some old business. Our Rodeo was a blur I was so
bmy I hope someone saw \vhat or who I did? I knmv as
President I need to refresh our stand on some items:
Item No. 1 - When we vote on something as a group, Let's
respect what we voted for.
Item No. 2 - Any misrepresentation of the organization ,vill
be dealt with as outlined in the By-Laws or how ever the
Executive Board deems fit.
Working together 1s what makes OGRA one of the best
associations in IGRA There is a lot of things happening in
the next few months. I know Phil will do his best to keep u<;
infom1ed of coming events, dates, places and times.
