Dear Dimensions,
I'm writing in reference to the article
"So, you want to have a baby..." in the
May 1994 issue of Dimensions. I think
any discussion about alternative
fertilization should include the idea of
whether people have a right know their
biological roots.
I am adopted. Many of my friends are

information as they get older.

Next, we'll take a look at Personal Ads
by Robbi Sommers. This collection of
short stories all begin with a classified
ad and then proceed to tell the story
behind the ad. The stories are mostly
erotic in nature, with a little ghost-type
fantasy thrown in for good measure.
An erotic fiction writer looks for
someone to help bring the characters in
her stories to life. A three-way sexual
encounter begins with the purchase of

Ms. Sommers' books usually
concentrate on the purely sexual, and
her erotic writings have improved
greatly since her first book(Pleasures).
However, it is this reviewer's opinion
that her true talent lies in the writing of
fantasy (Uncertain Companions).
Included in Personal Ads is the story of

From Our Readers
The Moth
As darkness envelopes me
Lightening strikes in the distance
I see a flame come alive
Curious, I am drawn closer
The fire, crackling in the night air
Dances with fury
Throwing sparks, which slowly
disappear
I find myself chasing the sparks
Hoping for a taste, a touch.
They elude me.
Determined, I turn to the flame
And am awed by its beauty
The colors so rich
The warmth so comforting
The taste of smoke so exhilarating
and I am consumed in an instant.
Her Eyes
Every time I close mine
I see yours,
and I realize why a moth flies
willingly into the flame.
