Answers to your questions obout love,
relationships & personal problems
Dear Agnes,
My lover and I have known each other
for 25 years, but we have been lovers
for almost9 years. I've always felt like
I was second in her life because of her
mother and family. But last year I felt
like 1 had had enough of this so 1 started
listening to lies about her from two
people that 1 thought were my friends.
I now realize they were not friends.
My lover and 1 had a bad year in '88.
She met another woman, but later de
cided this woman was not her type. She
decided 1 was her type.
She says she still has strong feelings for
through your feelings, and clear up
some of the confusion that you are
experiencing.
Consider individual counseling if your
lover refuses to go with you.It can give
you a new prospective on why you feel
second and offer new insight into the
conflicts you feel about your relation
ship, her family, friends, etc..
Oak Lawn Community Services offers
counseling in the DFW area.
Dear Agnes,
me, and we are seeing each other, but
My lover has a hobby that just drives
me crazy. She likes to hunt! Not only
she still talks with this woman some
does she like to hunt, when she isn't
times. 1 get very angry and upset when
1 find out. She says it doesn't hurt to
have friends and talk to them. She
thinks 1 should do the same. Go out and
make friends-that is.
Should 1 stand back and let this happen?
Hoping it will pass, or should 1 get on
with my life? She says with all the
things that have happened, she's con
fused too, but time will heal. In her
words, people break-up and go back
together all the time.
This is still going on with her family.
Second
hunting she is getting ready for the next
big hunt.Everything in her closet came
from LL Bean, she has enough guns to
start the next Civil War. It is like an
obsession. I swear it is getting worse
and worse the older she gets. We
bought a new freezer last winter after
she came home from Colorado because
there wasn't room in the one we had for
all the deer meat.
She has a hunting buddy,but there isn't
any hanky panky. I'm sure of it!
When we first started living together
she would go quail and dove hunting
two or three times a season and deer
Dear Second,
Relationship counseling could greatly

think there is anything wrong with it(if
you don't do it all the time like she
does). She comes from a family of

There is not much you can do about this
situation except tell her how you feel.
And if you want to live with her after
she retires-get a hobby!

What do you make of this situation?
What should I do? I don't care if she
